Last year, I had no idea what I was doing with my music and as a result, it was quite terrible. Not to mention how complex I tried to make it. This year it will be somewhat simpler and dedicate more time to it.
There will be more dialogue this time, so the music shouldn't span for the entire film. However, when the two are on the swings with the time-lapse, that's the perfect time to have all dialogue cut out and only be music. This may also be quite difficult, but I want to make a specific beat/note that represents V's heart beating. It would start like a regular heart beating, but as the time-lapse progresses the time between each beat is longer, showing that her heart is slowing down and she is going to die.
Once that scene ends and fades to black, those beats will stop, signaling V has died.

This link is to the song Blue Hair by TV Girl, which has a similar idea to what I am try to do. Each "bum" throughout the song is meant to represent the heart beating. I don't think I will add vocals to the music and unlike that song, mine will gradually slow down till you can't hear it anymore.
