21. Storyboard

The introduction of V (shots 1-3) and the introduction of LI (shots 4-5). Shot 6 is to show her hiding something on her phone, away from LI. The scene is in my room, which will show how close the two are to be in the other's room.

Shot 7-9 is the introduction of the Hanahaki Disease, although it is only blood on her hand with a flower petal. Shot 11 is a scene change to the bathroom. Shot 12 is showing V absolutely panicked because of the fact that she almost exposed herself having the disease.

Shots 13-14 are meant to show more stress and panic throughout the character, with many different, fastpaced, angle changes. Shots 15-16 fully introduces the Hanahaki disease (actually showing a flower), along with how bad it has gotten. Shots 19-20, last two boxes, contribute to how bad the disease is, the full flowers hidden underneath the sink.

Shots 17-18,  written as the first two, and 22 will show the LI also cares for V, since she asks if there's anything wrong, showing their bond for the camera. Shot 21 and 23 is V putting on a fake face to not worry LI about anything, making her seem happy and normal. Shot 24 is the next scene in the park.

Shots 25-30 are more character, relationship building and to show the audience that V has some sort of feelings for LI. She will mention her favorite flower, the one put in her hair, and V would smile like she has no idea about it. These also mention V's favorite flowers, which she has never said before, this will raise questions for how LI knows.

Shots 31-34 are meant to slow down the fast paced feeling the viewers may have and slowly transition into the next scene at the swings. Shot 35 will probably be a time lapse or skip, this is meant to show the two talking, nothing else but the two and show more of their relationship. Shot 36 is when LI has to leave (leaving to the left) and V is sadden by this.

Shot 36 is going to be an extremely long take to show V's hesitation to leave the park, she will cough once more and leave the swings (by going right, signaling that they live or are going their opposite directions away from each other). Shot 37 is back to the starting scene in my room, showing a full loop. LI would have let herself into V's house, showing more trust with each other. LI would be completely avoiding looking in the direction of the bed, which should start to build tension for the viewers, until she looks over. Shot 38 will show only V's hand covered in blood and holding a flower, showing that she has died from the disease.

Shot 38 is held longer to show a drop of blood fall from V's hand. Shot 39 is going to tie that blood drop from her hand onto the blood dripping on the door. Shot 40 then ties previous information (how LI knows about V's favorite flower) and the current scene, where a hibiscus flower is laying on the floor in blood. LI had the Hanahaki Disease too for V. The screen will fade to black for the credits.

The entire storyboard!

The amount of scenes I ended up with is good, although the shot number I have feels like it may not be enough. I can always extend or add more to individual shots, but I worry that it might not be enough for 5 minutes. I didn't think based on time per shot but more so on what I wanted in the film.
