24. Non-Diegetic Title

The diegetic title may not happen after all. There is a lack of areas on where I believe I could incorporate a title, short black screens or just it never completely fitting anywhere.

My new idea is to have it at the end, once the film fades to black just before the credits. It's going to feel like a shock and I hope the audience will be confused and want to know what happened after seeing the hibiscus on the floor. The fade might be slightly long and dragged out to try to have the audience think there's something else going to happen, but there won't be.

I might add the music back from the park scene, with the "heart beating", but instead of V's heart it's LI's. This could confuse the audience is a negative way and I could try to alter the key or the pitch to give some indication that it isn't V's heart.

The text color would be a dark red, similar to the one on the postcard and the credits would be white. I will try to have moving text, going up, and will have to research on how to do that.

An idea for how I can incorporate the title at the end with the credits. It goes over the color choices, red for Chrysanthemum to represent blood and white for the rest of the credits to contrast the red. I will also try to have the credits move from the bottom to the top.
