16. Opening Scene

The opening scene will start with me on my bed. Having in be inside my room, plus on my bed, shows a closer relationship with V and LI; they are comfortable enough with each other that V allows LI to both be in her room and on her bed.

This is about where the camera might be. V would be about where Gojo is, with a much closer shot.

V will be reading off of her phone, with the voice over playing.

LI will jump onto V's back and lay there, which will also show a closer bond, plus giving LI a very energetic personality.

As for the room overall, the spot will be directly in front of a window, giving strong, bright light to each of us, amplifying the idea of having the film be very bright. We would have to start filming around 2-3 P.M. to get the best lighting that isn't overpowering. Last year, the light glare was difficult to combat and if it gets to that point again, I can put a sheer, white curtain over the windows to still give clear light. Before, I had a red, sheer curtain and it made the overall film dark, with a red hue. The curtains can also be used for Talia, in case the lighting is too bright and you cannot see any of her features.

That is the distance from the window to where we will be, the sun rises from this side and it may be too bright in the morning.

For the reading, I am debating on how long I should make it, since I don't want too much information to get out; however, having a long take of the reading allows for the tension to build up to Talia jumping on me and breaking me out of my story.

For Talia jumping on me, I feel I may not have enough space to put the camera to get the entire wide shot I want. It isn't going to show LI running up to jump, but have the viewers seen just a bit of her in the background.
