17. Removed: Beach Scene

As stated before, I realized I was trying to shove tons of content into 5 minutes, though I did want to talk about the scenes that I had to remove. The overall logistics weren't thought of, but the main ideas were.

A beach scene!

This was to build the romantic relationship between the two or show one of the characters realizing they like the other.

The scene would go something like: LI doesn't want to go into the water, V takes her hand and drags her there, a wave/V trips and LI lands on top of her and there's one of the cliché, eye contact moments (long take and close up), then they laugh and play in the water.

If I decided to use the beach as the set instead of the park, then we would need another outfit change, someone to transport us there and worry about the other people at the beach. The idea itself is cute but unrealistic to do in five minutes.

This is the relative idea for the eye contact I would have done. LI had fallen down into the water and V helped her up, then LI looks up and they have their eye contact moment.

There are other ways I realized I could make their relationship stronger, smiling around each other, the idea of having a brighter film when it's the perspective of one character, etc.
